Cabinet (SBC)
Thursday 27 September 2007

Area of land adjacent to Burnhill Way in Newton Aycliffe stretching from the Pioneering Care Centre to Greenfield Community and Arts College is being considered for developing outdoor sport and recreational facilities.  Two ideas for the land were devised by LDA Design Consultants and these plans have been used as the basis for a consultation exercise.  The purpose of the consultation exercise was to discover the views and opinions of stakeholders with respect to the area of land in question, and to canvass opinion on the development ideas put forward by LDA Design Consultants.

The consultation exercise was completed at the end of July 2007 and Cabinet needs to determine if the development project should be moved to the next stage.
